In the quiet town of Gohpur, Assam, a young man named Diganta Das once labored in coal mines, worked as a security guard, and cooked in roadside eateries—each job a stepping stone, each setback a lesson. But Diganta wasn’t just surviving. He was absorbing, observing, and quietly building the blueprint of a dream.
After years of odd jobs across Arunachal, Meghalaya, and Karnataka, Diganta found himself in Mangalore, mixing dough in a food factory. It was here that he mastered the art of making Malabar parottas—layered, flaky, and full of soul. But fate had other plans. In 2017, a high-voltage cable accident left him half-paralyzed. Recovery took years. Most would have given up. Diganta didn’t.
He returned to Assam and launched DFF – Daily Fresh Food, a ready-to-eat paratha brand that now delivers 1,400 parathas daily across Upper Assam. His product isn’t just food—it’s a symbol of resilience, crafted from the lessons of every job, every injury, every moment of doubt.
Diganta’s story reminds us: transformation doesn’t need a boardroom. It can begin in a coal mine, a kitchen, or a hospital bed. What matters is the will to rise.
